Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Polispro ("we", "us", "our") handles personal information collected through polispro.com when you browse the site, place an order or contact us. We keep it short on purpose: we collect what is needed to sell and ship products, we do not sell your data, and you can ask us what we hold at any time.

1. What we collect

  • Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and the shipping and billing addresses you enter.
  • Order details: the products you buy, your order history and any messages exchanged with our support team.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify Payments. Full card numbers and payment credentials are handled by the processor under PCI-DSS standards and are never stored on our servers. We accept Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Elo, JCB, and UnionPay.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, the pages you view, referring URLs and timestamps, collected automatically as you use the site.

2. Cookies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart, remember preferences and measure traffic. Some are essential for the site to work; others help us understand which pages are useful. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; some features, such as checkout, may stop working if you do.

3. Why we use it

  • To process, ship and, where needed, return or refund your orders.
  • To answer your questions and provide customer support.
  • To detect and prevent fraud and unauthorised transactions.
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
  • To send marketing emails, only if you have opted in; every message carries an unsubscribe link.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the parties needed to run the store:

  • Our e-commerce platform provider, which hosts the site and stores order data.
  • Shopify Payments and any other payment provider, to process transactions.
  • Shipping carriers, to deliver your parcel.
  • Analytics providers, to measure site performance.

Each of these third-party providers receives only the data it needs for its task and is bound to use it for that task alone. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, in response to a valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property or safety. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

5. How long we keep it

We retain personal information for as long as it is needed to complete your orders, provide support, resolve disputes and satisfy legal obligations. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

6. How we protect it

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, and every page of the site is served over SSL/TLS encryption. No online service can promise absolute security, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access will never occur, but we work to keep the risk low.

7. Your choices and rights

You can:

  • Ask for access to, correction of or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Opt out of marketing emails through the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
  • Ask what categories of data we have collected about you.

8. California residents (CCPA)

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act gives you additional rights:

  • Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.
  • Right to delete that information, subject to the exceptions the law allows.
  • Right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information; if that ever changed, we would provide a clear opt-out first.
  • Right to non-discrimination: we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

9. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes

We may revise this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date, so please check back occasionally.
